Last night Kimora Simmons was on ustream to talk about her departure from Baby Phat. Sorry guys I missed the beginning of her broadcast where she probably explained in more details about the situation but my laptop had some malfunctions. I did see majority of her hour long up close and personal featuring baby Kenzo every now and then. Kimora is clearly emotionally about the end of her run with the 15 year old brand Baby Phat. What I picked up was that Kimora and Baby Phat weren’t having the same vision ending with them letting her go. All this even though Kimora created the Baby Phat cat symbol at the age of 8. But as Kimora said we are going to let that go because she sold the rights to that years ago.
Kimora didn’t like the statement made about her being a size 10 and airbrushing costing thousands of dollars. Being that I’m over a size 10 I didn’t care for the statement either but someone from Baby Phat actually said it. It really sends the wrong impression to young women. Kimora is currently filming “Life In The Fab Lane”
